Established on May 25, 2020, Exodus T.W.O (The Way Out) is a non-profit organization under section 501(c) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. Our name is inspired by the biblical account from the Book of Exodus, drawing a parallel between the plights of ancient Israelites and individuals grappling with mental illness in the modern world.
That’s where Exodus T.W.O steps in, offering a way out from the constraints and difficulties caused by mental illness.
To create a society where individuals facing mental health challenges including adolescence, the incarcerated, homelessness receive compassionate support, equitable treatment, and access to opportunities for recovery, leading to a fulfilled and inclusive life.
Exodus T.W.O is dedicated to empowering individuals including adolescence and the incarcerated or with mental illness and their families by providing comprehensive support, advocacy, and resources. We strive to break the barriers and stigmas surrounding mental health and incarceration, offering a pathway to recovery and a way out from the constraints imposed by mental illness. Through
collaboration with various stakeholders, we aim to facilitate access to timely counseling, legal advocacy, employment opportunities, and community integration. Our goal is to foster a society that values and supports the well-being of every individual, irrespective of their mental health challenges.
We offer immediate and compassionate mental health services for those diagnosed with various mental health disorders by directing them to where they can get immediate help. Our team of dedicated professionals provides counseling, crisis intervention, and mental health support resources.
Our substance abuse treatment program from our partners focuses on understanding the root causes of addiction and providing the necessary tools for recovery. We understand the complexities of addiction and provide comprehensive support including counseling, group therapy, and recovery management services.
We advocate for individuals who are incarcerated, specifically those with mental health conditions. We work closely with court systems and probation offices to expedite evaluations and ensure fair treatment. We also develop prison programs designed to provide mental health support, legal aid, and rehabilitation resources
